View Classmate Locations in a full screen map




So today our class finished up a little project in Batchgeo. We listed our names and addresses in a Google Docs shared Excel file and today we were all to copy and paste the list into Batchgeo and have it mark where we are on a map.
As you can see, most of us are centrally located in or around West Virginia. This makes sense since Fairmont State is in WV after all. I was surprised though, to see a few people who live in Texas and even all the way out in California. Are you guys crazy?

I'm not sure how exactly I would integrate this into a lesson as an art teacher. Maybe assign all the students different famous artists to research and have them all list out where the artist lived. This activity would show the students that not ALL famous artists were from the Renaissance era and lived in Europe, which most kids seem to believe.
