It's Diigo time! I've added a link to my Diigo in my new "Links" section in the sidebar. Also, I've added a pretty new layout to my blog, and it adds a little link to Diigo on a tab at the top of my posts! I think it sets the mood pretty nicely, don't you think?

Anyway, back to Diigo. I've also downloaded a browser add on called the Diigolet (Diigo + applet) and it is working perfectly with my browser, which is Chrome by the way.

I've installed many add-ons to Chrome in my day, and Mozilla Firefox before that, and Internet Explorer way back in the day... Some current ones I'm using on Chrome are MissingE for tumblr (I love tumblr!), AdBlock Plus (shhhh), and of course Diigo. MissingE makes using tumblr easier, for lazy folks like myself...and most of tumblr's population. It simplifies buttons and gives more options for blogging. (Speaking of which, if you all don't know what tumblr is, it's a blog site just like this one, and in fact it may be a little easier to use. That's just my opinion though.) AdBlock does exactly what its namesake says; it blocks ads. This come in especially handy when watching Youtube videos and browsing forums. Yes, it seems kind of immoral and mean for me to deny those sites of money by blocking their advertisements, but hey, I'm just one person.

I think using Diigo fits into the Nets T standard 2 pretty well because Diigo is a helpful tool that will allow us to share educational websites and other materials with each other easier than making a blog post about something we find, or sending out a mass email to all of us. With Diigo, we can make our own collections and use it how we wish.
