So there's this thing called Jing, and it's a very helpful tool. UNFORTUNATELYYY, Windows 8 Consumer Preview does not support Jing so I can't use it... I can simulate using some parts of Jing by other means, which involves a lot more work on my part but I'll see what I can do.
Anyway, Jing is a type of snipping tool, like the one readily available on your computer. Unlike the snipping tool though, Jing allows you to add captions using line, arrow, shape and text tools. Using these you can point out and tell things about your screen cap. Also, Jing includes a feature that allows you to automatically save the image to the internet and provides a link to share the image with others, right from the Jing interface.
I can simulate these tools using Paint and uploading the image to an image hosting site like Photobucket, tinypic, Imageshack, and flikr. This takes a lot longer to do and isn't very handy if you're in a hurry.

And here are some pictures of my problem:

Here's a snip of me trying to fix Jing because it doesn't work...
Oh look! It says Jing is ready to go! Let's try this out.
Wait, what? I thought you said it was ready to go?!
